Education: BS from St. Cloud State; currently working on my Master's degree
How many years have you worked in education? This is my 2nd year
Where did you grow up? Detroit Lakes, Minn.
Why did you want to become a teacher? Both of my parents were special education teachers for 30+ years and I got to grow up and see what a difference they made in so many students lives. My dad was the lead negotiator and ran the teachers union. I think it's important to get involved and be passionate.
What do you like most about teaching? Watching students achieve things they've never done before.
Fun Fact about yourself? I spent 5 years traveling with my husband while he played professional hockey and we've lived more places than I can count. My daughter was born in Germany!
